MMMMMM...:
Antonio Valdes-Garcia, a Spanish citizen who used to head an oil company affiliated with the embattled Russian oil major Yukos is in hospital after a brutal attack, the Interfax news agency report.

The agency said that the former director of the Fargoil company was transferred to a Moscow hospital on Aug. 19 after spending 12 days in a hospital in the Moscow suburban town of Istra. Doctors described Valdes-Garcia’s state as “satisfactory” saying that he had suffered a head injury, concussion and multiple fractures of both legs.

“It is not known what caused the injuries,” doctors said.
Valdes-Garcia was detained by Russian prosecutors in June and some reports said that he agreed to cooperate with investigators in exchange for protection.
